The buildings and gardens in the city of Christchurch shape similar to the one in the City of London, which distinguishes the magnitude and the crowds. Therefore, many tourists relax enjoying the views of this city. The center of the city known as the Cathedral Square. While on the left, right, and rear of the building accompanied by a variety of European architectural style. In the afternoon, many tourists and people chat around the church. Capri Island, Naples

There are three small islands across the Gulf of Naples. However, Capri may be the right choice, a tiny island with the legendary beauty of it. this island populated of only about 700 thousand, a million offers charm. Clear sea turquoise, coral or sandy beaches of white, underwater caves to house relics of the ruins of the Roman Empire.

I Wonder if Capri is considered as one of the best resort in the world. And do not be surprised if the international celebrities make Capri as one of the favorite places to trip.

Long before Hollywood stars are flashed in Capri, super-rich men of the world, have often visited Capri. Tiberius, a Roman emperor, even making Capri private homes and offices. Tiberius unwilling to live in Rome, the capital of the Roman Empire. From the Villa Jovis, private home in Capri, Tiberius ruled the Roman Empire.

Queen Elizabeth also had a private house on the island, although this time the former home of one of the British elite was razed to the ground. Meanwhile, a Swedish doctor, Axel Munthe, build a small empire on the hill ini.SO do not be too surprised if the prices in Capri is always high. In fact, sometimes absurd

The price of food or other services too, also quite expensive. But, that's Capri. Although expensive, every day, the island was flooded with 5000's of visitors. Last summer, a day's visit can exceed the local population. And do not be surprised if you have some ngantre for public facilities in this tiny island.

Capri Island looks solid, though smaller. Visible cliffs reflecting waves, and seagulls fish after milling. Once Caremar, our ferry, docked at Marina Grande, the main pier of the island, tourism as stinging smell. There are lot of souvenir shop, the boats - from the simple to the most luxurious though - crammed into the dock. Tourists milling about everywhere.

One of nature's beauty named Grotta Azzurra. do not be surprised if you hear this phrase, because it looks like one of the late Sutan novel Fate Alisyabanah (STA). Yes. But on this island, Grotta Azzurra (blue cave) is not a novel. However, a cave beneath the sea cliff edge so amazing beauty. Indeed there are many caves in the cliffs around the island. But the most stunning Grotta Azzurra.

Mouth of the cave was located in a steep coastal cliff. To achieve it, we would have to use the boat. Do not ask how the beauty in it. Crystal clear blue sea, the cave ceiling is thick, and the reflections of white sand in it, so amazing.

The island is small, so could one day be around all edges. However, it turns out we will need 3 days and two nights to enjoy it. Nothing, it was unfortunately missed the island so this enchanting day. Moreover, if you do not want to be like a tourist paketan: come, see and go

One is so fascinating is the home of eccentric Swedish doctor, Axel Munthe. Munthe built his villa by mixing ancient objects to the inheritance of the emperor Tiberius was in his palatial house. The gardens are beautifully decorated with marble statues of Roman in them, and the view out to sea was so stunning, making this a very special villa.

Moreover, until now the villa is still intact and preserved. Unlike the former villa of Tiberius Caesar who lives a mere rubble. In addition to the beautiful sea view, the former villa of the emperor Tiberius only worn debris.

You also have the opportunity to separately cliffs surround the island, and you will feel very amazed at the boundary between the sea and the island, looks so beautiful. Not surprisingly, every day there is always a cruise ship docked.

While Capri town itself, is also unique. There is a main road, but not a few small roads winding. Maybe if in Jakarta just called the aisle, because the width no more than one meter. But this only made the streets more unique. Only a tiny battery-powered cars can go. The rest, yes pedestrians. And once again you do not have to wonder if the hotel you will tujupun through the streets like this alley. But, that's Capri. Every day, no matter how expensive, tourists continued to flooding.

IN Taksim square there are many star hotels, restaurants and other nightlife center. In addition, there are also Ataturk cultural center. Weimar, the Germany Ancestor

This pretty old town became the place where German Republic stood, after the fall of the monarchy system (kingdom). No wonder that this city's name immortalized as the Weimar Republic, where the German constitution was designed and approved in 1919.

This old town located not far from Erfurt, the capital of the State of Thuringen. This city in the former German Democratic Republic region (East Germany) became the birthplace of philosopher and humanist Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832).

Indeed in that time, around the 1800s, Weimar became the intellectual center of German life, and even Europe. In this city also Goethe incised gold works, including the his most popular work final version "Faust".

Weimar was also hometown of the philosopher, Friedrich von Schiller (1787-1789 and 1799-1805). Here Schiller wrote many works, including "William Tell". In addition to the birthplace of the Bauhaus school of architecture, the city of Weimar has a variety of architectural styles, from 19th-century architecture until the Nazi era architecture and the Socialist East Germany. No wonder the variety of architecture and works of Goethe and Schiller made this city famous as one of the cities of art in Germany.

Now the House Goethe (Goethe Wohnhaus) and Garden Goethe (Goethe Gartenhaus) became one of the interesting museums. Baroque style building is one popular destination that love to be missed, in addition to the National Museum of Goethe. So does with the House Schiller (Schiller Wohnhaus) which was located not far from there.

As a beautiful small town, the heart of the city of Weimar is full of old buildings are beautifully arranged to create a romantic feeling. Architecture and Baroque styles increasingly Rococco beautify this city. and no wonder that this city much admired and visited by foreign tourists who want to see the real beauty of the German state.

In the middle of this city also, you can enjoy the beauty of the parks and the cafes with benches on the street that serves delicious coffee that smell so tempted. Understandably there is no pollution, and this area became a pedestrian, so that is no passing vehicles on this area.

For those of you who have a hobby of hunting objects made of porcelain, you do not have to worry because Weimar is famous with the beauty porcelain . Especially in Schillerstrasse you can find beautiful porcelain from China.

As the birthplace of the intellectuals, there are few bookstores in the center of this city. Do not miss the souvenir shops that sell a variety of interesting artifacts Goethe and Schiller nuanced.

One of the souvenirs of the town of Weimar is Billoba Ginko plant. Starting from seeds to a variety of souvenirs to the heart-shaped leaves, hearts were sold there. The plant is believed to be the giver of hope, in addition believed to strengthen memory and concentration power.

Weimar National Theater also has a German who plays the works of Goethe, and Johann Sebastian Bach. You are fond of classical music can certainly spoil your ear with the works of great composers of the world.

If you could visit the town of Weimar a few more places you should visit include the Summer Palace Schloss Belvedere. Rococco style, beauty palace buildings can be enjoyed all summer. This place much as you can immortalize your trip while he was in Germany.

And of course you also have to stop by to learn more about a concentration camp that gives us just how cruel the war. Usually people will not miss the former Buchenwald concentration camp which was about only 30 minutes from the city center of Weimar. However, surely you must be strong enough mentally to endure overwhelming feeling that the former concentration camp.

The Beauty of Lucerne

Lucerne, Lucerne, or Lucerna, all the official names, depending on what language will we use. Such interesting clues can be found if we take a trip to Switzerland, but did not take their tourist brochures.

At first the city was just a small fishing hamlet, located on the west bank of Lake Lucerne. However, since the year 840, the hamlet was named Lucaria started in the historical record. This name refers to the figure of St. Leodegar, the chaplain who founded the monastery in that place about the year 700. Gradually, and then turned into Lucaria Lucerne. From a fishing village eventually grew into large cities.

These developments occurred after the Gotthard Pass, the road was built across the mountains of the Alps, is opened. The location of this city turned into a very strategic, located on the trade route between the Rhine Valley in Southern Germany and Lombardy in northern Italy.

In the year 1332, Lucerne which was increasingly prosperous, joined the confederation of three cantons (states), the early founders of the Swiss federal state. Prosperity increasingly felt, after the next road transportation of water held.

Beautiful city on the shores of this lake even eventually also connected with the railway. This railway makes Lucerne a trading city and tourist destination.

Lucerne is overflowing with all sorts of natural beauty. With the background that show eternal snow throughout the year, and this means that during the four seasons, always seemed to decorate the top of the Alps Mountains. While the stretch of pine forest surrounding the city, combined with a very clear lake water sparkling blue.

Although located far inland in the middle of Switzerland and the European mainland, Lucerne every time fishing hundreds of thousands of travelers coming from all over the world. All beauty is equipped with a water excursion on Lake Lucerne, a lake covering 38 square miles that joined with the Lake Uri, up to the wall of steep rock hills in the Alpine region.

Oldest Wooden Bridge

One of the main tourist Lucerne is a wooden bridge that spanned the River Reuss. Bridge in the middle of the city known as The Chapel, built in 1333 and believed to be the oldest wooden bridge in the world.

For more than seven centuries, the bridge is already several times (last in 1993) ravaged by the flames. Every time a fire occurs, the local government to intervene and restore.

This bridge can always look intact and seemed to have never wavered, and felt able to survive, despite all the beams in the water for hundreds of years.

"This is the symbol of public attitudes Lucerne persistence, always timeless and want to improve themselves," said Christine, a girl guide, explained cheerfully.

Although the course of history has made some of the buildings in Lucerne starting to look older by age, the traveler can actually enjoy the classic beauty and tranquility of a society in a European inland cities.

On the other hand, Lucerne is also trying to come beautify themselves, without leaving the old. The city can show the characteristics of modern social life, complete with all kinds of perniknya.

In 1971, major fires scorch Lucerne Railway Station. In the former location of the fire, now stands the magnificent complex of buildings that are named the Luzernersaal. Blend between the concert hall, convention center, as well as art galleries.

The main building complex is a French architect, Jean Nouvel. Coupled with the design of the building by the acoustics expert from the United States, Russell Johnson.

Today, not only traces of fire had not left. The complex is then actually performed as a benchmark, reference materials and guidance in building, to build similar complexes throughout the world.

Jesuit City

Sunday morning in early July, I was awakened from sleep, by the sound of dozens of bells to the rhythm of his voice rumbling through the hard right into the hotel room. With eyes still half asleep, Christine reminded, "Lucerne is a city built by the Federation of Switzerland as an example of a Catholic town, to meet the recommendations of the Convention on Trent 1545-1563".

Not just Catholics, even in the beginning, the management of this city specifically assigned to the Jesuit Order. Thus, in Lucerne some churches present conspicuous. Every Sunday, the center turned quiet trade due to close.

"Six days we've been working, cooking is not willing to leave one day to honor our Creator?" Christine said seriously.

Lucerne society since the sixteenth century to build a special education center Jesuit and equip it with a variety of additional buildings. Peak activity they finally achieve by establishing a church dedicated to St. Francis Xavier (1506-1552). Development of special church began in 1666 and completed eleven years later.

Today, not only meaning in the history of the building is important because it commemorates one of the Catholic holy figures are well known, St. Francis Xavier, who had once worked in Malaya, Ambon, Ternate, to mainland China. For ordinary people, the church architecture is very interesting because it marks the trace of the Baroque style, which has recorded its own impression in the world of architecture.

In the book Die Kunstdenkmaler des Kantons Luzern, Adolf Reinle describes, "A building is truly a work of genius ..."

Not excessive praise. Of all the Baroque-style church building on the north and south of the Alps Mountains, the Jesuit Church in Lucerne occupies a special position. Unique shape, design built compelling, and worked with the following skills excellent detail.

Once the impression from the outside. Especially on the inside, saved a lot of ancient paintings and sculptures which are very beautiful.

Fairy Tale City of Yamagata

Yamagata is not a large area. Yamagata is a small town, in the suburbs, and only occupied 250 thousand inhabitants. Interestingly, with a small population, they have a strong tradition to hold the film festival.
Yamagata city is located in the hill environment. Because in the hill region, it can be imagined that the weather of Yamagata is very cold. For me that comes from the tropical area, where temperatures tend to be cold instead. The temperature reached 10 degrees Celsius in the third semester of each year, making this city sights are not too crowded. However, the convenience offered incredible.

Yamagata, which is located in northern Japan, can be achieved through two transportation routes, land and air. On land, we can use the bus or train. If you want to have a more comfortable transportation, u can choose the train.

When we arrived in Narita Airport, we must seek Tokyo railway department. Train with air-conditioning service and clean condition of the car makes its users feel comfortable. Arriving at Tokyo train station, we are looking for another train to the same facility pointing Sendai city. Tokyo-Sendai distance to within four hours. Of Sendai, we changed trains again. This time, more modest, but clean with a professional service.

From the train station to Sendai Yamagata train station, we need 85 minutes travel time. Of Sendai, we will pass some lovely small town with a paddy field and hills. Tousyogu, We Sendai, Kitayama, Kunimi, Kuzuoka, Rikuzen Ochiai, Kumagane, Sakunami, Oku Nikawa, Kougen, Yamadera, Takase, Tateyama, Uzen Chitose, and until we Yamagata Yamagata became the way the fine eye.

From the train station, there is bus transportation provided, with a ticket price of 100 yen, to get around the small town of Yamagata.
There's one of the most crowded places visited by the public, called Nanoka-machi, along about three kilometers. This road is the economic center and the administration of local government Yamagata. Government buildings and shops, together along the road this Nanoka-Machi.

In the surrounding streets-machi Nanoka there are many shopping centers everyday needs. Especially the need for food, clothing, and household goods. All products peddled goods, the prices vary widely. Moreover, after the documentary film festival was held, the city is more alive. All products are sold very unique, special to attract the visitors.

In the city of Yamagata, there are some very interesting places to be visited by foot. For example, in a building called Kyodokan. Kyodokan dynasty was built in the Meiji era. Here, we can find a summary of the history of Japan and the display-time display of medical equipment Meiji dynasty in power.

Another place is Bunshokan.
This place is an ancient building, which accommodates the European Renaissance buildings, plus a touch of Asia. What's interesting about this place is that we can find the background of social and political history in the city of Yamagata. Bunshokan age, as old as the history of the country sunrise. In the era of The Meiji dynasty, this place is used for educational activities, social activities and political activities. From the outside it seems strange that this building, let alone standing in a small town. However, when stepping into it, just an atmosphere of educational activities being conducted.

And in fact there are many other locations, which can be visited around the city of Yamagata. From the information that can be obtained, there were some unique locations, namely Yosiaki Mogami history museum founded by the eleventh king of the Castle Yamagata, who named Mogami Yoshiaki (1546-1614).

Or is there another place that can be reached by foot, ie Otemon Higashi, who is also an ever established by Mogami Yoshiaki. In the year 1991, this place has been renovated with funds amounting to 1.1 billion yen by the government Jepan. I was disappointed that theres no plenty of time to visit historic places ever founded and became the history of the city of Yamagata.

Maybe like a fairyland. Too much indeed. Because, in the city of Yamagata, there are so many historic buildings with such a high value. Since people still have a high awareness in order to maintain the buildings and historical heritage they possess.

Could be, keep the legacy of history, whatever its form, perhaps reflecting the ethos of a nation. Hopefully this is not too much. Impression that might arise in the minds of anyone who had visited Yamagata.

Ancient City of Rome

As a most known Ancient City, Rome has always been and remains the Eternal City. Its greatest splendor was experienced during the 1st and 2nd centuries when art flourished, monumental works of architecture were erected, and the mighty Roman legions swept outward, conquering much of the known world. With Romes establishment as capital of the Western world, a new ascent to glory began.

Todays Rome, with its splendid churches, spacious parks, tree-lined boulevards, fountains, outdoor cafe's and elegant shops, is one of the world's most attractive and exciting cities. Among the most famous monuments is the Coliseum. As you walk its cool, dark passageways, imagine the voices that once filled the arena as 50,000 spectators watched combat between muscled gladiators and ferocious animals. Stop to see the remains of the Forum, once the city's political and commercial center. In later times, Rome̢۪s squares were enhanced with such imposing structures as the Vittorio Emanuele Monument, the grandiose Trevi fountain and Bernini̢۪s Fountain of the Four Rivers, to name just a few.

Rome jars the senses and captures the soul. Join the many visitors who stand in awe of St. Peter's Basilica, Christendom̢۪s most magnificent church. Admire the timeless masterpiece of Michelangelo̢۪s frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. For the Millennium, Rome underwent an extensive beautification program that restored and cleaned churches, palaces, museums and piazzas. Many of the streets, squares and public spaces have been turned into pedestrian areas, causing additional strain on already horrendous traffic conditions.

When visiting Rome, guests must be aware that traffic and parking problems may cause delays. During the Easter Holiday, additional crowds can be expected at the most popular sites.

Caution: Avoid wearing expensive jewelry and watches or carrying large amounts of cash ashore with you.
The ship is scheduled to dock in the port of Civitavecchia. The town center can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes, depending on the actual berth location. Rome is reached via an approximately 90-minute drive (subject to traffic conditions). There is train service between Civitavecchia and Rome. However, taxi service at the pier is usually very limited.
The choice of shops is limited in Civitavecchia, but there are several good leather and shoe stores along the main street. In Rome, the selection is endless. Leather articles, shoes, designer fashions, linens, knitwear and silk scarves are some of the most popular items visitors come to buy. Some of the best-known shopping streets in Rome include the Corso Italia, Via Veneto and Via Condotti. The latter is particularly known for its elegant designer boutiques. Some shops close for lunch between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Department stores are the exception. The local currency is the euro.
Rome's choice of restaurants is mind-boggling, as is the variety of cuisine. Whether your meal is at a top-rated restaurant or a rustic trattoria, you can be sure that you will enjoy your food, especially when accompanied by wines from the hill towns surrounding Rome.
Rome's attractions are endless. With limited time, a careful selection has to be made. Following is a sampling of some of the most noteworthy sights:
Galleria Borghese
The former palace of Cardinal Scipione Borghese today houses a fabulous art collection in an extraordinary setting. Admission times and entrance tickets are strictly controlled.

Via Veneto
Take a stroll along Rome's famous street with its elegant shops, luxury hotels and popular cafés.

Spanish Steps
Together with the Piazza di Spagna, the famous staircase has been the place to see and be seen for centuries. It is one of Rome's featured landmarks.

Antico Caffe Greco
This 200-year-old institution on chic Via Condotti has seen artists and literati gathering around the tiny tables and velour settees.

Private arrangements for independent sightseeing may be requested through the Tour Office on board.

The beautiful Luxor

Not all tourists visiting the city of Luxor to know that in the era of ancient Egypt Luxor was the capital of the state (1550-1069 BC). Amenhothep pharaoh, Ramses II, even defeated by 'Alexander the Great' from Macedomia. Piece of holiday we spent in Luxor helped make my experience one of the historic world famous heritage in archeology.
Like most cities located in the valley of the Nile, Luxor was divided into two namely: the eastern and Luxor Luxor west. Based on the ancient Egyptian belief that the circulation cycle of the sun (rising in the east and sets in the west) is a solar system that represents the life cycle of the Egyptians, then east of Luxor was the center of activity where all civilizations living creatures are born, grow, and live.

While western Luxor is the location of the grave / tomb and temple worship of the god of death. Luxor is now time to develop as a modern city where the majority of the population livelihood comes from tourism industry. Hotels, restaurants, shopping centers and other business activities centered on the east of the Nile. While other western Luxor remains the tomb complex is also a residential for farmers, ranchers, and fishermen.

The main tourist objects in the east is the Temple of Luxor Karnak and Luxor temples. After the famous Giza pyramids, Karnak Temple is the most important place in the history of pharaonic. Karnak Temple is filled with 134 columns with a gigantic fruit super large room that has no end, on both sides of the main gate before the Great hall stands a statue of granite Hypostyle King Ramses II. And at the heart of the temple complex of Karnak Temple is dedicated to Anum king of the gods.

Still in the Karnak temple complex, there is also a sacred lake where in ancient times used by the priests to cleanse themselves before performing the ritual worship or spiritual ceremonies. North side of the lake can we find the sacred stone statue of Khepri scarab (beetle Khepri) in a giant size. In Egyptian mythology, the god Khepri beetle believed to have the power to move the sun from rising to drown.

The second most important tourist objects of the Luxor temple, the temple was an ideal location in the heart of the city concentrated Luxor. Luxor temple construction extends to the Nile berparalel. Luxor temple architecture patrician features and elegant impression, built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III, later updated by Ramesses II. Even in the last decade under the rule of Alexander the Great, Luxor Temple further modified.

One of the unique corner in the temple of Luxor is the Mosque of Abu al-Haggag was built by the Arab government in the 13th century. At the main gate of the temple there is a obeliks of pink granite as high as 25m, initially fixed pair obeliks this, but one of obeliks the 19th century, moved to France as a gift from King Mohammed Ali for the people of France, who is now stuck in the de la Concorde - Paris. Do not worry if the evening went late, because the temple area is equipped with floodlighting which suggests an ancient, historical and exotic than the daytime tour.

For museum lovers, Luxor has two outstanding museums: the museum & Luxor Mummification Museum. As for tourists who prefers a culinary experience or simply wash the eyes, the heart of the city of Luxor is facilitated by wide sidewalks along the (road) Sharia al-Corniche along the river nil. Shops lined Snacks, floating restaurants, or cafes tents lined along the Sharia al-Corniche offers traditional cuisine and seafood.

Another unique options that can be practiced using caleche services (carriage / wagon) take a carriage ride around town in Luxor, the place that looks cool or busy to visit, after the satisfaction of our city tour on foot came back the marketplace that has been observed earlier. Services caleche worth 10-15 Egyptian pounds, as usual caleche driver will give a high rate, but lasted just 15 pounds due to the normal tariff. Central Luxor with the main line is not more than 5km, so anywhere close, and concentrated.

One of the unique option to enjoy the river is nil dinner on cruise. Along the river there are many choices nil dinner on a floating cruise or hotel, so do not worry do not miss out. Hotel or restaurant permanently moored floating vessel, although its shape. With the choice we take sailing cruise along nil for about 3 hours, dinner on cruise with belly dancing entertainment or Whirling Dervishes show.

There is also a choice of more romantic dinner, dining on felucca (traditional sailing boats and white) while enjoying the sunset, this one needs to set up a high enough budget for his felucca special for us, because it cost too private prices.

The next day with a local tour agent, we were taken to the West Bank or also known as Thebes. After crossing the Nile at the first stop Colossi of Memnon, but the grandeur Colossi of Memnon only left with two statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III sits and plays his knees and clasped his hand view of the Nile eastward. Each statue weighs 1000 tons and 23m high.

The journey continues into the valley of the kings and queens, valley of Kings and Valley of Queens is not only a complex of tombs for kings and queens, but also allocated for the royal family or the nobility. Once paid tickets at the main gate Valley of Kings & Valley of Queens we have no longer charge for entry into the tomb. But for certain Pharaoh Masyur and famous visitors will be asked again if the additional contribution of interest to view the tomb. In just a tomb empty tomb, the mummy was moved to the Luxor Mummification Museum or the Museum of Cairo.

Still in the area of Thebes, the most famous objects and worth a visit is Hatshepsut Temple. Hatshepsut was the female pharaoh who ruled for 20 successful years. Due to legal partriarki very strong at that time, Hatshepsut dressed like this often his men, using the pharaoh headpiece, even a false beard. The image will look this Hatshepsut tereflesi on his statues in the temple. Although Egypt is not unusual pharaoh commanded by women, but the government within Hatshepsut, Egypt was brought to the peak of prosperity and stability of the country.

Important tips to plan a tour to Egypt that is between the months of November to April temperatures vary between months 20-26c. Hottest month in the daytime and very cold at night between the months of May to October. Provide sun lotion is always in my bag, because the day in a desert area with hot and dry winds can bake skin. Do not forget to bring sun glasses and use a turban or a hat is more useful than an umbrella.

Intramuros

Wall is identical with limitations. What separates walled in and out. And this separation is often based on a desire to defend themselves, to maintain the purity, keeping a whole to perpetuate themselves.
That we see on the walls of Intramuros in Manila. Thick wall limit of the old town core is a culture of colonial Spain. Out there, people are no different islands with neighbors in Indonesia. So solid wall until you feel a strength in limiting the mixing.

Close to the edge of the sea, the old Spanish fort stood firm. No longer surrounded by coconut plantations, but it was a golf course and a road with four lanes. Now he is no longer any limit between Spanish colonizers and the allied nations with the people of Manado, Bugis, Javanese and Batak.

Intramuros thick walls failed to stop a syncretic culture. The doors of the castle was open. Infiltrate into rigid flexibility of the Malays in Conquistador.

It is not only the gates are never open and unguarded. When the Western world at war in the mid-20th century, destroyed Intramuros area.

Allied bombing escaped from an army commander sworn named MacArthur. "I shall return," is complete with flat Manila Cathedral, and old houses since the incarnation of power Spain in 1571 until 1898.

Mighty wall along a 4.5 kilometer area around the 64 hectare area was filled with palaces, churches, monasteries, schools and houses were razed to the ground. Only one church stood, upholding the divine letter on human vanity.

An inch of land is now no longer owned by Rajah Soliman, or Delantado Miguel López de Legazpi, and also no longer owned by the ruler of Metro Manila. This area opened up into a recreational area that can be visited by anyone.

Intramuros was originally a rural area of indigenous settlements. Manylad their village name. Led by Rajah Soliman, this village in the bay the center of trade of commodities that come from China, Japan, Vietnam, and some say the whole of Asia.

This good fortune did not last long. The Spanish explorers arrived. On June 24, 1571, this village had occupied Adelanto Miguel Lopez de Lagazpi. He built the city of Manila from the ruins Manylad village.

Whatever is gained by violence does not seem to make peace. Development Manila run, but the threat from English, Japanese, Portuguese and the other Asian colonial brick inspire themselves. Comes thick walls with gates that connect the suspension bridge is closed each night. Also appeared in the walls of the term in Spanish, intra muros.

Spain turned out not to be afraid and shut themselves up. Intramuros and the Philippines to change employers, as the Treaty of Paris was signed with the result that Spanish colonial powers handed over to the United States.

Asia is a unique region, where the only European-style castle town stood, destroyed by the new rulers who seized it with pens. Douglas MacArthur made his headquarters at the time of Intramuros before the Japanese invasion. He transformed this old city, with a break down old buildings and widen the road.

That was not enough because the Japanese took Manila. During the three years of Intramuros become privy to hundreds of Filipino rebel soul. Japan using the fort area of Santiago is working on the colony.

And during the battle of Manila reclaim the lives of thousands of civilian victims. During the eight days of Japan make their defense in Intramuros. United pluck them out with a running bomb. San Agustin church live and part of the city walls that still stand.

In 1979 through a presidential decree established the Philippines Intramuros Administration. The goal in rebuilding the city in this wall. His aim is to make a city tour.

Now, thanks to these efforts, the impression Spain, America and the results of modern Filipino culture, all can be felt within the city walls. There is no longer the original in a closed world once. There must be a good way or a gentle violence to create a new world. (rn)

City of Beach, Nha Trang

Nha Trang is a city in northern Vietnam. From Jakarta, we must go down first to Saigon (now called Ho Chi Min City) and spent the night there. In the morning we had a flight to the city with travel time about an hour.

The atmosphere was bustling town by people who go home or go to work. The people are eagerly looking at the bikes and their bikes. Most of them wear a mask because it's dusty streets are steaming.

Beyond that, the obvious Nha Trang is Vietnam's leading satellite cities that have potential to beautiful beaches and the sea. The Vietnamese government seems to design the city as the equivalent of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu and promote it heavily.

We can see from the layout of the coconut tree, white sand, and its supporting facilities. Moreover, the exotic atmosphere of the beach that we get tgere, especially at dusk and at night. As the sun dimmed and smoke began billowing steam along the coast road.

We can also enjoy the variety of typical servings of ocean. Shellfish boiled, grilled fish, seafood fried rice, mixed with roasted duck and fried grasshoppers, and various insects to cobra. Hmm, must have a sensational and somewhat bizarre by our tastes, but interesting to try.

What is important to note, life of a city tour will provide a means of life for residents. Along Nha Trang beach grow and small restaurants offering seafood variety of diverse types and creation according to the size of the pockets of the visitors. Lesehan to start from the big restaurants alongside cohesive and harmonious.

What about price? Self-worth and bought both by tourists and local communities. There is no excessive profit taking because they realized that the visitors are loyal buyers and would come back if dissatisfied with their service.

As a result, the economy was not only hung on the tourists who come, but local people also enjoy the products offered. This climate is conducive for tourism are able to integrate and involve local communities in the habit of tourism development. That's what tips might not have our tourism community. In Nha Trang, there are tourists or not, the economic wheel fixed and can not walk.

Vietnam is rich in marine products to be proud to tourists, from a wet to dry. Perhaps we already know some products are so masculine male icons of myth. Call it the blood and flesh of cobra snakes, baby deer, scorpions, or super gecko. The materials were put into the jar and dicencem or soaked in wine is said to increase male potency.

Such goods sold in the market many Trang Thuong Thum , in the town of Nha Trang. Uniquely, the drug was powerful in the market are made from marine products like sea horses, crustaceans (either of what type of species), and many others.

Clearly, a sea-way as a typical product that we can enjoy in Vietnam. See it, dry food from the sea looking to decorate all the stalls and baskets, small baskets (push or hip) such as dried squid, grilled squid, salted fish, ebi, and others. Indeed they have the creative ability of marine product processing very well.

Moreover, Vietnamese people are very fond of eating seafood. So, they have realized that the sea is the main resource buffer their food (food security). Naturally, if they were serious about maintaining marine resources they have.

One other attraction of Nha Trang is a great demand of Po Nagar Temple. At first glance, the platform and forms part of the temple is similar to the Prambanan temple in central Java. When I and his entourage arrived there, some people who are doing Hindu rituals with people dressed like Bali, complete with gloves and headband.

Could they were descendants of the Majapahit who had been sent to apply for Princess Campa? I do not know, who would posture, how to dress, and similar rituals of the Balinese. Perhaps it is only their language that shows the difference.

But if the temple has a history, perhaps we will take the conclusion that the temple did not have a relationship with the Kingdom of Majapahit in Java. Check it, Po Nagar, built around the year 781, about seven centuries before the glory of kingdoms in the archipelago that.

It is located in the middle of Kauthara, near the city of Nha Trang. Temple was dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess is celebrated in the country of Vietnam is often identified with the Hindu goddess Durga or Bhagawati and Mahishasuramardini (which the Vietnamese called Y Thien Thanh Mau). Goddess latter can we meet at the entrance.

The uniqueness of charming temple could be because it lies on the hill, exactly on Mount Cu Lao. Temple with a height of about 25 meters was the more interesting because it is between two bridges that looked solid in nature and stunning landscape print. The second bridge is XOM and Hon Chong Bong.

As a site related to Hindu religion, it is recommended visitors take off shoes before entering. Of course in addition to maintaining the sanctity of reason, it will also support the site cleanliness. As a result, Po Nagar temple area of approximately 500 hectares berluas very interesting to visit.

Beyond that, the people of Vietnam are the people who are tolerant of religious differences. Religious life there is relatively harmonious and adherents of different religions can live side by side. So, in some corner of the city, we can see the church or mosque (though slightly) standing between the temple or pagoda. Most of the traditional Vietnamese people profess Buddhism, but embracing modern Protestant and Catholic.

BEAUTIFUL BEIJING

China is one of the biggest cultural nation in the world. Traveling to China, is not complete if it did not come to Beijing. In addition to the central government, Beijing is one of the most unique city in the world. The city is located in Chaoyang lowlands, surrounded by mountains Yen San. This is a place where a Great Wall of China was built. To reach Beijing, we can use a car or train tracks that are accessible on the city skyline in China. The plane will land at Beijing Airport Internatoinal located in Sun Yi District, 30 kilometers from the city center to the East.

Once landed in China's largest Airport, the atmosphere of a modern department with the latest technology so dominates. we can see a diferrent images that we always heard about China.

Various State and class of airlines around the world is here. According to the local airline data, all provinces in China have at least one airline. No wonder China now has thousands of aircraft. That's why the airport was later referred to the busiest airport in the world with 1200 flights each day.

Entering the City of Beijing, once again we will be amazed. Thousands of majestic buildings in the city planted area is 19 thousand hectares. Everything is so neatly arranged, making the cool eye can see. Millions of trees appear green city, so the air cleanliness is maintained. Of all the existing buildings, which consists of offices, hotels and others almost always filled by the users.

The tallest building in Beijing named Ching Quang Center, located in the Xuan Wu, trade and economic center of Beijing. Building height reached 200 meters. The same location, there is a high tower of China with 380 meters was used as a private television station to transmit broadcasts to various parts of China.

Transport in China have been designed in such a way that the pathways that are available are actually utilized for the prosperity of the people of China. Not only the roads, subrailways are already owned Beijing almost thedecades. All routes were impassable owned subway electric powered with a tight time schedule, 10 minutes, so the train was not too crowded .. all the cars equipped with air conditioning and air heating for the winter.

Meanwhile, for transportation on land, hundreds of buses are available to the various city departments, including to other cities in China. Buses are only allowed to stop or rest 10 minutes in the terminal every existing district. The next match will go back to his route and stopped at the bus stop specified.

China is one of the world's most populous country, with the number of vehicles that also very solid, but we'll see all the vehicles that ply the various that are be corner of town, walking is very orderly and smoothly without disturbing the interests of others. No wonder traffic is a rare sight in Beijng, whereas the number of foreign vehicles can be many. And that's the uniqueness of Beijing.

Another uniqueness, although almost every family could afford a car, they prefer to ride a bike for a variety of activities. It Is something familiar sight if someone wearing a full suit but pedaling a bicycle.

Talk about food, China is one of the greatest. In addition to various types of cuisine, the service was excellent . No wonder most of the people of Beijing budgeted half of their income just to eat. Throughout the evening and night throughout the restaurant in Beijing is always packed with visitors, especially if the end of the week, quite a lot of restaurants are open until morning.

Meanwhile, to beautify the city, government built Ching Noodle River 60 meters wide that divides the City of Beijing. Function, in addition to drinking water supplies, watering the garden city, also for the industry and various other purposes. In the evening and night, the river is navigable by boat crowded tourist specially prepared.

River which has very clear water it, connecting two large reservoirs, Kwang Ting in thewest of Beijing and Yun Mi in the East. The river is so clean that up very tightly controlled by the city government, because the wastes produced from various places will be removed to the specific rivers flowing to the sea wasted. That is always maintained that the waste does not harm the environment.

To be sure all water channels in the city of Beijing, was always guarded and cared for very well. So it's no wonder since 1966 until now, the City of Beijing was never hit by floods although located in the lowlands. (rn)

Perth, house of thousand gardens

Almost all major cities in Australia have a beautiful garden and clean. This garden has a function for the greening and the lungs of the city. However, many activities can be done there, like ranging from exercise, a break and enjoying food in the gap and school activities office, or gather with family and friends while enjoying a barbecue. The latter was very well liked Australia.
Moreover, there are facilities everywhere in the form of a barbecue cooker which works just by inserting a coin a few dollars. By bringing lunch drinks, raw foods (meat and vegetables), and silverware, barbecue event took place.

One of the park is visited by many Kings Park. This beautiful park has a length about 400 hectareslocated on the western edge of Perth, not far from the Central Business District (CBD), aka business center in Western Australia. Park consists of grass, botanical gardens, and natural vegetation of the mountains Eliza. Besides being a major tourist flights to Perth, in the vast park was also found State War Memorial, the tennis courts of The Royal Kings Park Tennis Club, and the reservoir (water storage reserves). State War Memorial in writing all the names of the heroes of Western Australia who joined the Boer War, World War I and II, the Korean War, and in Vietnam.

The park was first opened August 10, 1895 it was known as Perth Park, and was renamed in 1901 as a memorial to the rise of King Edward VIII his throne as king of England, and respect of the visit George as Duke of Cornwall and Queen Mary to Perth. The daughter then gave the name of one of the main street of May Drive. Meanwhile, the Royal King's Park Tennis Club was founded in 1898 and is the Davis Cup competition. Currently the field is composed of 28 field grass (grass court) and 3 hard courts (hard court)

The main roadside park is May Drive, Lovekin Drive, and Marri was known as the Honor Walk Avenue because of its banks planted with eucalypt tree (a type of acacia tree), and in each there is a tree plaque tribute to the heroes of World War I and II, which comes from Australia . On the tablet is written the name of a war hero, age at death, place of war, and representatives of families who planted these trees. Overall, there was a tree and plaque 1100.

A very large garden is located in the altitude, so from there we can look at the beauty of Perth and the Swan River it. Clearly, every September and October, there are always organized exhibitions and performances wildflower (wild flowers) the largest in Australia.

Before the Europeans came to Perth, Mount Eliza was known as Mooro Katta and Kaarta Gar-up by Nyoongar tribe (one of the Aborigines). In the southern region are a source of drinking water Kennedy Spring (Goonininup) needed Yellagonga clan. The existence of water sources that attract beer company Swan (Swan Brewery) to establish the current business of restaurants, art galleries, and area of residence of luxury.

What was unusual was built Bali Memorial in Kings Park. The monument as a reminder of the death of Western Australia 16 people who became victims of the Bali Bombing October 12, 2002. The monument looks simple, but actually formed from the 2 axis. The first axis indicates the direction of the rising sun on October 12, and the second axis leads to an Australian flag flying in the distance, to the Swan River, and the Darling Ranges.

At Kings Park there is also a garden area of 18 hectares Kingdom, known as the Botanical Garden Western Australia with 2,000 species of plants typical of Western Australia. Garden was designed John Oldham, a landscape architect at the time, in preparation for holding of the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1962.

There were also Lotterywest Federation Walkway which has high and long bridge, so that when we cross it as if walking through the trees while listening to the chirp of wild birds flying around. There are also several groups of small parks, such as Acacia garden with unique steps for mosaic patterned fitted acacia trees, Banksia garden plants that are native to Australia, water garden, and others. There is one interesting buildings, the DNA tower. That is two sets of stairs to the top of the fruit as a picture 110 DNA chain that carries genes in living organisms.

Before leaving the Kings Park, tourists are generally not satisfied Indonesia if not shopping or just wash the eyes at Aspects of Kings Park. There we can find a variety of accessories, clothing, household items, and souvenirs work of Australian artists. If the price, do not ask, certainly enough to drain the bag. In addition to its weak dollar compared to the Australian dollar, all goods sold are made by indigenous Australians.

Other parks can also enjoy the Queens Park which is the English-style garden. The park was located in the Canning area, located 11 km from Perth city center and is a frequent crossing of those who want to take a shortcut because it is shorter in the two different sides of the road. In the park there is a replica statue of Peter Pan, which originally adorned the Kensington area of London.

Park was originally named Woodlupine. His name was later changed in 1911 because of the murder in that place. Residents and local government felt the need to change the name of this park so that the incident did not bring a bad impression that interfere with the development progress in the area. The name Queens Park as a tribute to Queen Alexandra, consort of King Edward VII. In the garden there are palm trees and beautiful flowering shrubs with a very attractive pool, and a haven of birds. If there is a bit of bread crumbs, these birds will be happy to come around us.

Another park is also famous Sterling Garden and Supreme Court Gardens. Two parks are located side by side together because it was not too broad, and was originally known as the Government Gardens, being 100 meters to the west of Government House. Where he is on the corner of St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street, west of Government House and in the north Supreme Court building. Alexander Forrest Statue made by Pietro Porcelli located at the entrance to Sterling Garden that was originally made from clay and then made prints in Paris, printed with a candle, and made of bronze, and was officially opened by Walter James on August 28, 1903. From the park we could see The Swan Bells Tower height is 82.5 meters of Perth icon.

Another park that is Burswood Park is a relatively new park for the Perth community. The park is located 3 km from the CBD and located on the banks of the Swan River for 40 years (starting in the mid 1940s) is a garbage disposal area, so the vegetation and bird life there to be disrupted. However, beginning in 1986 these areas gradually improved so that today approximately 40 varieties of birds and poultry have come back and stay.

Burswood Park is famous for never received an award as a beautiful garden, with typical bird barung-Australia as the Australian Grebe, Australian Pelican, Australian Shelduck, and much more. There are also tennis courts, golf course with 18 holes and is very popular during the casinos are open 24 hours.

Anyone who has grown old can enter into it for free, and is the only legal gambling places in Western Australia.

Another park I visited on the trip to Perth is Central Park. Before coming to my garden is a garden bayangankan downtown area as the square in Indonesia. But it turns out, the park is flanked by St George Teracce, Hay Street, and William Street was not parks for others, because it's really hidden in the building of skyscrapers in sekililingnya.

The front was also a city bus stop. But after all, the place was quite comfortable for those who want to just get some fresh air after fatigue in air-conditioned room, opening lunch, or an ideal place for a date with someone.

The last garden I visited the Victoria Park. Park area of 17 hectares in the Northeast this CBD are also on the edge of the Swan River, and before the arrival of Europeans, a bush area untreated. From there you can see the beauty of the City of Perth, including the magnificent buildings in the Burswood Casino Burswood Park.

So many parks in Perth. So much mistaken if the city can we dubbed "the city of a thousand garden."

Old City New Orleans

New Orleans has an unique language, English language with many words absorbed from French, Spanish, and African. Among communities in the United States (U.S.), New Orleans (NO) is the most attractive city with many characters who do not possess other cities. At NO life was like in the past two centuries, the atmosphere of life in old French and Spanish. At the same time, there are also modern buildings.
Founded in 1717 by Jean Baptiste LeMoyne, Monsieur de Bienville, the first settlement was around Bayou (creek or small bay formed by the bend of the river) Saint John. Development of walking in 1721 with a area of 11 blocks times 6 blocks. Original region is known for its French-speaking population and the region called the Vieux Carre, or French Quarter (FQ). There were also French Market.

FQ is the heart of the old city NO. There was found mingling of past beauty, history, and romance. The streets are not wide, the buildings are close together and the old buildings with different roof shapes and barred iron balconies, and architectural mix of Spanish and French called Creole, derived from Spanish criollo.

That term applied on various things such as food, vegetables, architecture, as well as for the descendants of Spanish or French settlers there. Tourists can explore the area on foot; carriage rides; up Streetcar, the tram through a single rail, or tram through the streets. The latter is the wheels, using rubber tires.

The houses in the FQ serves as the venue, restaurants, cafes, bars, lodging, souvenir shops, and other tourism facilities. Many restaurants and hotels have a beautiful patio and comfortable dining room in the open air. Gods Ark in Corcovado

Only took about 15 minutes from Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, I arrived at the entrance to the area of Jesus Christ the Redeemer statue in the Tijuca Forest National Park Corcovado Mountain, Brazil.

Actually, small cars can go straight to the top near the statue with the smooth road high steep enough. As for the group who rode the bus provided two tram cars that will lead to the top. Red tram that runs up splitting the dense forest into a unique experience that is difficult to find elsewhere.

Not far away, I walked toward the ticket booth at the same time in the tram for a ride 36 real Brazil, or about 16 U.S. dollars per person round trip. Quite expensive, but it becomes less expensive when compared with the price of beauty that we can witnessed.

I then wait in line with the other visitors who come looking overseas for up tram with departures at 9:30 am. Not long tram arrived, ordered the passengers to fill the seats of two cars each with 40 person capacity, which was soon to be moving slowly toward the top of the hill.

Climbing trip travel time about 20 minutes, but the green of tropical trees such as jackfruit and the cool weather began to soothe the eyes and mind of this. Arriving at the last station, visitors are offered to ride 'lift' but should be long enough to queue or walk through the steps that have stairs approximately 200 steps.

At this location there is a solid crowd for visitors who want to queue up on using the existing three elevators, visitors are met with a new tram line down and down. A number of volunteer officers properly manage the crowd that the two lines running smoothly.

Reached the top there's one segment of the ladder again to go. Fortunately there are enough steps to walk tall, which ease the visitors to arrive at the statue of Jesus the Redeemer. From this place, the statue of Jesus as high as 38 meters have been to the eye silhouetted against a bright beautiful sunshine cover.

The statue is to protect

Arriving at the top of the hill with a height of 710 meters above sea level, the visitors seemed to be in the shade of the Supreme Court. Statue of Jesus stretched hands as if giving a blessing. Face and hands of Christ Redeemer statue overlooking the city of Rio and Copacabana beach below as if receiving all errors and sins of the people to ditebusnya. Being on the spot, which last year entered as one of the seven wonders of the world's new7wonder.com version, visitors seemed to be taken to see the greatness of the owner of the universe.

Standing beneath a statue in the style of Art Deco architecture that was completed in 1931, the visitors from many nations, tribes and religions as if all are united by an awareness of the beauty of the universe favors God-given.

All visitors who are under the statue of Jesus, was trying to capture the historic moment in their lives is to take pictures or make videotapes. I was no less busy photographing beautiful images and photos in style with his hands stretched to the background the statue of Jesus.

Once satisfied spending capacity memory cards in digital cameras, I went to the foot of the statue where a chapel was built to serve the people of Catholic and Christian wanted to pray, as always in places where other Catholic pilgrimage.

Long history

From several sites on the Internet mentioned that the idea of building a statue of Jesus appeared in the mid 1850s. At that time Catholic priest Pedro Maria Boss requested financing from Princess Isabel (Queen of the royal one in Brazil) to build a large religious monument.

But Princess Isabel was not interested. The idea of building the statue was forgotten until 1889 when Brazil became a republic and state laws mandating the separation of church and state.

The second idea hatched in 1921 by the Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro. Archdiocese of organizing the event Sunday Monument to attract donations, which came mostly from Brazilian Catholics.

Christ Redeemer, or in Portuguese Cristi Redentor designed by Heitor da Silva Costa and sculpted by Paul Landowski French origin. It took five years to build this sculpture of concrete and stone. The railway was built to carry large pieces of sculpture to the top of the mountain.

The statue is completed and inaugurated on October 12, 1931, various improvements continue to be done such as building elevators and escalators to facilitate the visitors.

Similar statue was built on top of Mount Fatucama, Dili, East Timor in 1996, his statue of Christ the King. This statue is a symbol of integration of East Timor warning to Indonesia. Height 27 meters to 27 provinces representing Indonesia at the time.

However, according to some friends who join the group to Rio, the statue of Jesus in Dili later was no longer well maintained. Political background of the establishment of the statue was made of Dili residents are reluctant to take care of it.

This condition is very much different from the statue of Jesus on Corcovado hill, the management of a neat and clean to make the visitors not only stunned the statue's beauty but also feel great comfort in that area.

There is no garbage strewn, no marks on the walls and everything going on with the order without a fuss because of all maintained and managed well.

Thousands of visitors from all over the country come every year to this place, and the tourists were not only Catholic religious pilgrims and Christians but also from other religions who want to enjoy the beauty of the location of the statue.
